Brick, wood, block, slab, or crawl space, it doesn’t matter how your home is built, termites don’t discriminate! Termites can get trough a crack as small as 1/64th of an inch and do more monetary damage in the United States than all the fires, wind storms, and hurricanes combined! Termites live in colonies where populations can reach more than one million. Imagine the damage they can do to your home!

Lawn Care

Having a green lawn is a mark of pride for many homeowners. A beautiful, lush, and natural-looking lawn becomes a big part of how they come to define "home".

When you consider your own landscaping options, there might be some decisions on whether to hire professional lawn care or if you can do it yourself. This article will outline some of the basic considerations you’ll face so you can approach do-it-yourself lawn care with confidence.

Tree and Shrub Care

When it comes to caring for your outdoor home environment, regular tree and shrub care is just as important as lawn care. As beautiful as it may be, the typical neighborhood environment cannot provide the same benefits to trees and shrubs as a natural forest. You can protect your landscape at a price you can afford with Jamison's Pest and Lawn tree and shrub care program.

Make sure your trees and shrubs get the nutritional support they need through our deep root fertilization and feeding services. We use specialized equipment to supply custom fertilizer blends to the root zone of the plant. Shrub and tree fertilization is important in the development of health and beauty in your landscape.

Mosquito Control

Take back your lawn!

With Jamison’s Mosquito Management Program you can once again enjoy the outdoors. Our program will treat and remove all harborages for mosquitos so your lawn is no longer their home! All plant materials as well as fence, decks, roof overhangs, etc. are potential harborages for mosquitos. Call for a free inspection.

Spiders (order Araneae) are air-breathing arthropods that have eight legs and chelicerae with fangs that inject venom. Spiders are found worldwide on every continent except for Antarctica. Approximately 40,000 spider species, and 109 families have been recorded since 2008.

Spiders differ from other arthropods in that the usual body segments are fused into the cephalothorax and abdomen, and joined by a small, cylindrical pedicel. Unlike most arthropods, spiders have no extensor muscles in their limbs and instead extend them by hydraulic pressure.

Ants are social insects of the family Formicidae and, along with the related wasps and bees, belong to the order Hymenoptera. More than 12,500 out of an estimated total of 22,000 species have been classified. They are easily identified by their elbowed antennae and a distinctive node-like structure that forms a slender waist.

Nearly all ant colonies also have some fertile males called "drones" and one or more fertile females called "queens".

Rats are various medium-sized, long-tailed rodents of the superfamily Muroidea. "True rats" are members of the genus Rattus, the most important of which to humans are the black rat, Rattus rattus, and the brown rat, Rattus norvegicus. Many members of other rodent genera and families are also referred to as rats, and share many characteristics with true rats.

Rats are typically distinguished from mice by their size; rats are generally large muroid rodents, while mice are generally small muroid rodents. The muroid family is very large and complex, and the common terms rat and mouse are not taxonomically specific. Generally, when someone discovers a large muroid, its common name includes the term rat, while if it is small, the name includes the term mouse. Scientifically, the terms are not confined to members of the Rattus and Mus genera, for example, the pack rat and cotton mouse.

Pest Control

Pest control is at least as old as agriculture, as there has always been a need to keep crops free from pests. In order to maximize food production, it is advantageous to protect crops.

Chemical pesticides date back 4,500 years. It was only with the industrialization and mechanization of agriculture in the 18th & 19th century, and the introduction of the insecticides that chemical pest control became widespread. Chemical pest control is still the popular type of pest control today, although its long-term effects led to renewed interest in traditional and biological pest control.
